Responding to the coronavirus pandemic of early 2020, where the resulting lockdown led to change in everyday behaviours and shopping habits. Scarecrows Pantry took over a disused bottling unit at an old dairy farm with a desire to supply high quality, affordable, wholesome and organic produce, delivered to your door.
Partnering with organic growing co-operatives, local farmers, bakeries, craft breweries, independent coffee blenders, organic wholefood suppliers we are driven to reduce single use plastic association with domestic grocery supplies. Working closely with our farmers we ensure the reduction in pesticide use and enhancement of soil quality. This all feeds back to ensuring a quality selection of ingredients delivered fresh to your door. By developing direct sales relationships, we ensure maximum reinvestment at a local level.
Using high quality recycled wooden delivery boxes, recycled paper bags and liners and a full glass jar refillable solution for your store cupboard essentials we aim to minimize the carbon footprint of the weekly shop. Ever conscious of the rise again of single use plastics within the pandemic and the continuing threat of climate catastrophe on the futures horizon, we are passionate about reducing the unnecessary use of plastics to carry our day to day groceries. Scarecrows Pantry are proud to deliver an innovative solution to pantry restocking, select our glass refillable option and we will deliver your store cupboard essentials alongside your weekly veg box, no extra recycling trips required.
